Sun Print Experience: Ages 8-12
Time & Location
About the event
This course is a ton of fun for students ages 8-12! Sun prints use mid-19th century techniques to create a blue tinted photograph. Students can create photograms (objects placed on the photo paper to produce outlines) or photographic negatives to make genuine cyantotypes. (all names commonly known as sun prints!)
The students will observe first-hand some of the basic principles of photography while having fun creating images that can be taken with them. Participants should bring items with them that can be used to make prints (There will also be various items available in our studio). These should be flat items or objects with clearly defined outlines such as leaves, small toys, ornate material (such as lace), etc.
This class will be taught by, local photographer, Rob Carson. All materials will be coved in the tuition of the class of $42.
There must be at least 4 students signed-up for this class for it to proceed (We will email you in the case that it does not run).
There is no pro-rating for classes missed.
You MUST prepay online to reserve your spot.
Due to COVID-19, class will be limited to 8 students. If your student is showing any signs of illness we ask that you please keep them home.
